For a Nile tilapia farm, it is of utmost importance to be aware, as early as possible, of the presence of diseased fish in their habitat. Little care is given to know which fish is sick as tanks are treated in solidarity. The number of fish in a tank, alongside the fact there are many tanks in a facility and the view into a tank is only from the top means it is incredibly difficult for a farmer to visually spot any disease in individual fish.
